Proof of student status must be provided in order to benefit from student discount rates.
According to European tax legislation*, organizers of international congresses and services companies are obliged to invoice all services with Swedish Value Added Tax, VAT. Therefore, the conference fee and the accommodation fee includes 25% and 12% VAT, respectively.
VAT can be reclaimed after the conference.

Travelling to Gothenburg
The Airport in Gothenburg is called Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
It takes 20 minutes to travel by Flygbuss (airport coach) between the airport and Gothenburg centre. In the centre, there are bus stops at Korsvägen, Kungsportsplatsen, Nils Ericson terminal and Park Aveny. At the airport, the buses are located directly outside the check-in hall. The tickets to Gothenburg is 90 SEK.
Taxis are located directly outside the international arrivals hall. Prebooked taxis are located by the domestic arrivals hall. Taxi companies often have a fixed price for travel between the airport and Gothenburg.
